GVC is one of the world’s largest sports-betting and gaming groups, owning brands such as Ladbrokes, Coral, Gala and Foxy Bingo. We were approached to create a suite of materials for the organisation’s new internal Onboarding Management Programme in 2019. This followed the creation of a one-off marketing video earlier in the year. As a global business, GVC needed a consistent and attractive way of developing managers through its employer brand within a 3-6 month period, in order to equip them with the practical and soft skills required to thrive in the future. We worked in close partnership with GVC’s Nottingham and London teams to produce engaging and educational digital, printed and video content.
Following a kick-off meeting, we set out a project timeline in order to hit key milestones and deadlines for the launch of the programme. Our studio then set to work on creating the materials for months 1-3 including interactive documents for managers to track their progress, an illustrated road map and infographics to showcase key facts and figures within the group. We also produced video interviews with key internal stakeholders from across the organisation to introduce GVC, the importance of investing in staff, why onboarding is vital to their development and what they should expect to achieve from the process.
When producing collateral for months 3-6, we worked in partnership with GVC’s training provider in order to develop materials that would anchor a series of learning modules for managers. These ranged from question and answer-style interactive documents and videos, to illustrated comic strip stories, an interactive takeaway of Steven Covey’s ‘Big Rocks’ and an infographic depiction of the group’s worldwide value chain. We have a great working relationship with the team at GVC and are delighted to be continuing this partnership across a number of future global projects.
