The Brief

Dragonfly Homes builds contemporary and elegant homes in the heart of Derbyshire providing a place for families to flourish in rural and attractive locations. We were approached by the team to provide a full-service marketing offering in order to effectively communicate the brand to its target audiences. As a new builder within the
marketplace, the team identified the need for an agency to come onboard and help with increasing brand awareness and driving sales. Although a brand identity was already in place, few mechanisms were being utilised in order to communicate the brand to its target audiences.

The Solution

To start with, we invested a significant amount of time in defining target audiences and how Dragonfly needed to position itself within the marketplace. Once this was all agreed, we set to work on creating a detailed marketing plan which would form the basis of the marketing activities going forward. Tactics identified included email marketing, on-site events, radio and other out-of-home channels, PR and both organic and paid-for social media marketing.

We were also commissioned to design and build a new Dragonfly Homes website in order to improve the user journey, UX and design, while making the site scalable for the addition of further new housing developments in the future. The original website lacked a blog section, so incorporating this into the new site was crucial in order for us to strengthen the brand through effective SEO and content marketing. To-date we have completed a number of seasonal campaigns across all tactics and in the first eight months of our relationship, helped the team sell the majority of the plots on its inaugural Meadow View development.
