Tom and Claudia to take part in the CEO Sleepout for the second year running!

Following a rewarding and worthwhile experience in 2018, Tom and Claudia have paired up again to take part in this year’s CEO Sleepout – all in the name of charity.

Established to raise both awareness and money to tackle homlessness, the CEO Sleepout was founded in 2013 and has since raised £2.2 million for charitable organizations tackling poverty across the UK.

The Sleepout encourages CEOs and local business professionals to sleep rough for a night to help those most vulnerable in our society. This year’s event will once again take place at Notts County’s Meadow Lane Stadium, on Thursday 10 October – with over 45 local business professionals already signed up.

Homeless numbers in Nottingham have been on the increase in recent years – so initiatives such as the CEO Sleepout are proving more important than ever for charitable organisations in the city. All money raised from the Nottingham event will be split between The Friary, Emmanuelle House and Notts County Football in the Community (NCFITC).

Having first heard about the event in 2016 through NCFITC, Tom has been a regular face at the CEO Sleepout since 2017 – taking part in three consecutive events – and has recently been named on the board of trustees for the charity. Joining Tom on the Sleepout since 2018, Account Junior Claudia has signed up for her second successive event to help with the money raising efforts once again.

The 2019 CEO Sleepout will see 12 UK-wide locations battle a night with the elements in the aim of raising as much money as possible. Last year, Nottingham’s CEO Sleepout raised a combined total of £48,700 for local charities and this year, Tom and Claudia have set themselves the target of raising a minimum of £500 each.

We would be extremely grateful for any support our friends can give in helping Tom and Claudia hit their individual targets. No amount is too small and all money donated will go directly to The Friary, Emmanuelle House and NCFITC. If you can’t support us financially, then please share this post in order to help us achieve our goal.

We thank you very much in advance for your donations and support!
