The Dairy Team Will Be Sleeping Rough This October to Raise Money for the CEO Sleepout!

After recently attending the launch of Nottingham’s 2018 CEO Sleepout, our team has made the pledge to take part after Tom, Claudia, Chris and Matt all sign up to sleep rough in the name of charity.

The CEO Sleepout is a charity that was set up to raise money and awareness of homelessness and poverty by encouraging CEOs and business professionals to sleep rough for a night in order to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

Homelessness in Nottingham alone has reached record highs in recent years and in 2018, no one should be in a position where they have to sleep rough or be in a state of poverty.

This event first came to our Tom’s attention through Notts County Football in the Community in 2016 and although he was unable to take part that year, he signed up and braved the elements in 2017.

The Nottingham CEO Sleepout raised a combined £81,000 last year and for most of the fundraising period, was the highest performing city outside of London. After Tom’s fantastic efforts last year, we thought that we would try and tackle the CEO sleepout as a team this time around with Tom, Claudia, Matt and Chris all pledging their support!

The night of the sleepout (and Claudia’s likely complaints about being cold) will be Thursday 11th October at the Notts County’s Meadow Lane stadium and we have already started our fundraising efforts in the hope of raising between £750 – £1,000 each for a very worthy cause.

We would sincerely appreciate support from as many friends and contacts of The Dairy as possible through generous donations in order to help us hit our combined total target of £4,000!

No amount is too small and all donations are very gratefully received. All money donated to our page will go directly to the four charities involved (CEO sleepout, NCFITC, Emmanuel House and The Friary) upon completion of the event.

We thank you very much in anticipation of your generous support!
