Here at The Dairy we have developed our own award-winning Brand Planning Workshop designed to create a persona for a new brand or refresh an existing but perhaps tired brand. We invite 3 of the client team and 3 from our agency team to a neutral venue, away from the phones and emails, where we can get plenty of coffee and biscuits from around 10am to 4pm.
We go through a process during the day to strip down and then rebuild the brand by asking the right questions and looking at what the great brands do. There’s lots of interplay and group working. We cover marketing objectives, target market, brand values, brand archetypes, messaging and the single most important thing to say about the brand (the USP).
At the end, we produce a written report for the client which forms the basis of the brand moving forward.
