We recently celebrated Nigel’s 40th year in the marketing industry – a truly fantastic milestone worthy of ample recognition. It seems we’re not the only ones recognising his efforts, after the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) recently got in touch with him to confirm his receipt of a fellowship from the prestigious organisation!
The CIM supports marketers with their careers through its membership scheme. Members gain access to webinars, career advice, training, events, networking opportunities and the chance to gain additional qualifications related to the industry.
Membership types range depending on experience and levels of study – from affiliates for those studying for a qualification to associate, member and fellows.
Fellows are recognised for having a CIM qualification as well as 10-15 years experience within the industry. This is traditionally attributed to senior marketing directors and consultants.
Almost as if they knew about his latest milestone in the industry, the CIM got in touch with Nigel recently to say that he was being made a fellow in recognition of his achievements – not bad ey!
A brilliant piece of news to receive and one that Nigel is thoroughly please with: “I’ve been a member of the CIM for a long time now and through it gained access to a lot of valuable insights which have helped me and the team at The Dairy over the years,”
“We’re proud to say that a number of our team are ‘marketing qualified’ and have taken relevant qualifications through our own industry body – myself included. To be made a fellow is a lovely touch and I would like to extend a sincere thank you to the CIM for this recognition.”
Please join us in passing on words of congratulations to our Managing Director through our LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook channels. Thoroughly deserved Nige!
