The branding around Nottingham’s Robin Hood card is set to undergo a significant revamp after a new partnership has been secured between ourselves and the Robin Hood Network (RHN).
Nottingham’s Robin Hood card provides integrated bus, tram and train travel across the Robin Hood Network which stretches to Hucknall in the north, Clifton in the south, Burton Joyce in the east and Bramcote in the west.
Many of Nottinghamshire’s major transport operators are part of RHN including Nottingham City Transport, trentbarton, Nottingham Express Transit (NET) and East Midlands Trains, as well as Nottingham City Council’s own transport services.
The Robin Hood card has proven very popular with public transport users across Nottinghamshire since its inception in December 2015, with around 17,000 people using the card across the network.
There is now a need for the branding around the card to be refreshed in order to keep it fresh, appeal to more users across the network and achieve a unified look-and-feel – as Jordan Kemp, part of the Robin Hood Network Marketing Group, goes on to explain.
“The Robin Hood card resonates with the people of Nottinghamshire because of the links to our famous outlaw, so the name and the logo work incredibly well for us in terms of overall brand recognition,”
He continues, “Over time, several marketing agencies have worked on the collateral surrounding the brand and therefore the look-and-feel has become disjointed. We felt it was time to employ one agency to refresh the entire suite of collateral and after listening to their ideas and seeing conceptual work for how they would approach the brand, The Dairy Creative Agency was the stand-out partner to take the Robin Hood card forward.”
For our Managing Director, Nigel Rowlson, to be working on such a well-established and highly recognised brand across the city and county is a sign that the agency is continuing to move in the right direction and growing on both a local and regional level.
“With the uncertainties surrounding Brexit this year, we entered 2019 cautiously but with the mentality that we would continue to do what we do, consolidate our existing client base and push hard to work with more great businesses on exciting marketing projects,”
“The Robin Hood card certainly fits that mould and we are delighted to be working on such an exciting, well-recognised brand within our home county in order to inject new life into its future marketing campaigns and collateral. To see our work appearing across Nottinghamshire will be incredibly satisfying and a massive achievement!”
