Behind the Scenes of The Dairy Team’s 2018!

All in all this year has been a great success for the business, and having a fantastic team is something we pride ourselves on. When they aren’t busy working hard for our clients, our team gets up to all sorts – so here’s a nice roundup of a few personal milestones!

Let’s start with Nige and Caroline. This year they decided to make the most of the long weekends, Airbnb accomodation and affordable Ryanair flights – all of which have resulted in some fantastic holidays. The Dairy couple have touched down in Nice, Lake Garda and Dublin, as well as many more destinations which brings the question, “Where next?”. Well Vietnam is on the cards for the Rowlson family, where they will see in the new year. How jealous are we?!

At the start of September, we waved goodbye to our Account Director Verena, who temporarily left our team on maternity leave. Ronan Bernhard Batchelor – AKA Baby Wolfgang was born in October and has been the cause of many office “awws” ever since. Take our word for it, he’s adorable.

In January, Matt joined us as Account Manager – he is now an invaluable member of the team and is working on new account wins within the agency. In 2018, he arrived at numerous destinations including; Japan, Poland and Tenerife – with the Philippines lined up for the end of this month where he will celebrate the new year. On top of all of his adventures, he has been settling into and renovating his new home – well, no rest for the wicked and all that.

In February, our Tom was promoted and it seemed that the only way was up for our new Account Manager. In October he began a CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing and more recently, he explored New York – Kevin McCallister style! Whilst on his travels, he asked his lovely girlfriend a very important question, to which the answer was yes – congratulations Tom!

This year wedding bells have chimed for another member of our team – our Senior Designer Chris has been planning his wedding ahead of the big day next year. Recently, our Studio has missed Mr Skeggs because at the start of December he flew across the globe to Australia with plans to return in January…although we wouldn’t blame him if he decided to work from down-under for the foreseeable future!

Recently manning Studio alone and always fuelled by energy drinks, Mitch has had a very creative 2018 and has exhibited at numerous zine and comic conventions across the country including Leeds’ Thought Bubble and Notts Zine Fest. He has also binged-watched anime with his cat Ricky, lead many Dungeons and Dragons campaigns and of course continued to sample Nottingham’s Asian street-food and pizza offerings.

2018 marked a notable date for Claudia our Account Junior, who celebrated her 1-year ‘Dairy-versary’ in September as she continues her apprenticeship with the Oxford College of Marketing until the new year. She has also followed in Nige and Matt’s travelling footsteps and planned a solo trip to the USA for May next year! All the while, in 2018 Claud has enjoyed anything leopard-print, pubs and clubs with her friends and kept us entertained with her ‘dad jokes’ (and awful impressions).

Throughout the year, we’ve celebrated a number of new client wins and maintained the strong relationships we share with our long-established clients. From training and diplomas to babies and engagements, our team has definitely been busy in 2018 and long may it continue.

We look forward to seeing all of our clients, old and new in 2019 – have a good one everybody!
