We’re delighted to announce that our Digital Marketing Apprentice, Elise Quirk, was presented with the Creative Industries Apprentice of the Year award at Nottingham College’s highly anticipated annual Apprenticeship awards.

We have invested in the development of young people through apprenticeships for nearly a decade, with many of our apprentices achieving notable success within the industry whilst driving growth for the business and our clients.

The Nottingham College Apprenticeship Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of apprentices studying through the college, as well as their employers. Over 100 apprentices entered across seven categories, celebrating achievements within the creative industries, as well as retail, automotive and construction, to name a few.

The dazzling awards ceremony was hosted at Nottingham’s Crowne Plaza on Tuesday 21st May 2024, with apprentices and employers recognised and celebrated for their accomplishments.

Elise Quirk, our Digital Marketing Apprentice, scooped up the Creative Industries Apprentice of the Year Award on the night – having competed against three fellow finalists within her category.

She was recognised for the impact she has made on our digital marketing services, having demonstrated new skills and supporting the agency in creating and implementing client strategies across content creation, data analysis and campaign management.

Our Account Director, Tom Walters, is delighted to see Elise take home the award and looks forward to seeing her continue to develop skills as she progresses in the industry.

“Our people will always be our greatest asset – providing a consistent source of inspiration for those around them – and we have always been passionate about investing in young talent,”

“I’m incredibly proud of Elise for being awarded Nottingham College’s Creative Industries Apprentice of the Year award. Having recently celebrated her one year anniversary with the business only a couple of weeks ago, she’s become an invaluable member of the team and her confidence has grown immensely,”

He adds, “She really is a shining example of how far you can go when you apply yourself with plenty of hard work, dedication and creativity, so I want to extend a massive congratulations to Elise on behalf of the whole team. She deserves her moment in the spotlight – which I’m sure is just the first of many.”

Reacting to her award-win, Elise said, “I am so happy to have been recognised by Nottingham College in this way both for my work within my apprenticeship and with The Dairy,”

“The support and encouragement I’ve received from colleagues, clients and staff at the College has been invaluable and for anyone thinking about completing an apprenticeship, I would say go for it. It allows you to develop your skills in a real life working environment and really hone in on where your strengths lie,”

She continues, “I never expected to be a winner but this really is the cherry on the cake of an amazing first year with The Dairy and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
