We are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring a beer at Nottingham Rugby Club’s Six Nations Beer Festival, taking place at The Bay from the 16th – 18th March 2018.
We have aptly named our barrel ‘Udderly Good Ale’, and created our own unique label for our special brew, which will be available to visitors looking for ‘barrels’ of fun at the festival throughout the weekend.
For our MD, Nigel Rowlson, supporting a festival at his boyhood club, which brings together two of his favourite things, was simply a no brainer – “My love for rugby, the club, and beer of course, means that we were very keen to get behind the club’s annual Six Nations Beer Festival,” said Nigel.
“It should be a great weekend of Six Nations action as the tournament comes to its climax, as well as live action at The Bay on Sunday 18th March when Nottingham Rugby take on the Bedford Blues. We’re proud to be a part of the event, and The Dairy team will be in attendance over the three days to cheer the boys on,” added Nigel.
For the club’s Chief Operating Officer Steve Smith, having both our support and the support of other local businesses is a huge part of what makes the annual event a success – “We are very grateful for the continued support from The Dairy and other local companies in everything we do – especially one of our biggest events – the Six Nations Beer Festival,” says Steve.
“Whether you’re a fan of rugby, or keen to try some new beers, the festival will have something for everyone. We’re expecting one of our biggest crowds of the season when we welcome the Bedford Blues on Sunday, so I would encourage as many people as possible to get to The Bay and enjoy what will be a great atmosphere!” added Steve.
