We have kicked off 2018 on a positive note by adding to our talented management team with our new Account Manager, Matt Smith.
27-year-old Matt from Nottingham, was a strong candidate at interview stage and impressed our MD Nigel with his positive attitude and strong in-house marketing experience across several industries at reputable companies.
“Matt has a solid background behind him working for big names such as Saint-Gobain, with a proven track record of making a difference and managing large quantities of work. He is very level headed, forward-thinking and keen to progress within an agency environment – so for me he was a stand-out candidate to help the company continue to develop and build upon the impressive growth we achieved in 2017” said Nigel.
Matt joins us with a degree in marketing and branding from Nottingham Trent University, and has already built up experience with forementioned Saint-Gobain as a Marketing Executive, as well as a similar role for photography retailer Picsolve, in the theme parks and attractions industry.
We enjoyed one of our most successful years in 2017 – our fifteenth year in business – thanks to new-business wins including Gala Bingo, Notts County Football Club, Nottingham Trent University and Motorpoint. Nigel has a clear direction for the company in 2018 and hiring Matt is part of his long-term vision.
“We increased our turnover by 66%, moved to larger premises and grew the team by two in 2017 – so 2018 is very much about consolidating what we have, continuing our solid growth financially and strengthening our skills further across all areas of the business,” added Nigel. Matt will be integral to our success and I look forward to watching him flourish as part of our dynamic and creative team”.
